about

I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share to help you make real progress in training your body and mind to move, function and feel better.

Following a number of injuries and surgeries my poor posture deteriorated so that by my early 30s I had a limp, a noticeable scoliosis and a frozen shoulder. I was stiff and in pain. It was at this point I stumbled across Pilates. Through progressively working to enhance my awareness so as to balance symmetry, strength and suppleness in my body, I am now able to live my life with more ease and enjoyment. Since my initial teacher training with Body Control Pilates® I have gained additional qualifications as a Mat work Master Teacher and Back Care specialist. I now enjoy the role of supervising teacher for B.C.P.

In addition, I regularly train and practise Qigong and Tai Chi with my partner Sam, www.sussextaichi.co.uk. I am passionate about sharing, with clarity, the profound benefits of real Qigong practice, for improving physical and mental health, wellbeing and resilience.

Outside of teaching I enjoy training, spending time with family, walking, and horse riding. I have an MSc in Applied Equine Science specialising in rider well-being and it’s relevance to performance.

patience and persistence are vital qualities in the ultimate successful accomplishment of any worthwhile endeavor
