I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share to help you make real progress in training your body and mind to move, function and feel better.
Following a number of injuries and surgeries my poor posture deteriorated so that by my early 30s I had a limp, a noticeable scoliosis and a frozen shoulder. I was stiff, in pain and struggling with high anxiety. It was at this point I stumbled across Pilates. Progressively working to enhance my awareness, so as to balance symmetry, strength and suppleness in my body, I am now able to live my life with greater ease and enjoyment. Since my initial teacher training with Body Control Pilates® I have gained additional qualifications as a Mat work Master Teacher and Back Care specialist. I now enjoy the role of supervising teacher for B.C.P.
In addition, I regularly practise Qigong and Tai Chi with my partner Sam, www.sussextaichi.co.uk. I am passionate about sharing, with clarity, the profound benefits of real Qigong practice, for improving physical and mental health, wellbeing and resilience.
Outside of teaching I love spending time with family and friends, horse-riding, walking and meditation. I have an MSc in Applied Equine Science specialising in rider wellness and its relevance to our horses’ behaviour and welfare.
patience and persistence are vital qualities in the ultimate successful accomplishment of any worthwhile endeavor
